Seems like 2020 isn’t going “All well” for the showbiz stars in Pakistan. Whether you talk about Sarwat Gillani and Fahad Mirza’s PDA stunt, or Alizey Shah’s leaked photos, 2020 is filled with some major mishaps for the Pakistani celebrities. Recently Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed also fell victim to the 2020 jinx.
Famous Pakistani actress Saba Qamar and well-known singer Bilal Saeed are under immense condemnation for a video song that has been shot in a historic Wazir Khan Mosque, Lahore, in which the two have seen ‘dancing’ and singing inside the mosque.
According to the reports, this act was illegal as the two celebrities shot the song in the mosque without any official permission. On the other hand, the social media users slammed the duo for violating the sanctity of the historic mosque by dancing and using it as a studio.
The issue came into public attention after Saba Qamar shared a small clip from the song “Qubool Hai” on her Instagram. The video went viral on the internet like wildfire, and the reactions of the social media users were opposite to the expectations of the celebrity. The followers and fans bashed Saba Qamar and the production house for promoting indecency in the Mosque and destroying its sanctitude. Twitteratis and other social media users also expressed great rage over this matter and asked the authorities to take strict action against both of them.
However, both celebrities have not offered any clarification on this matter yet.
“Qubool” is launched by One Two Records and is also a directorial debut for Saba Qamar Zaman while Bilal Saeed has written, composed, and produced the song which is featuring the duo as bride and groom. Earlier, Saba and Bilal left their fans confused when they both shared the same picture with the caption “Qubool hai” on their Instagram handles. Fans assumed that they two have tied the knot for real and start congratulating them. Soon this bubble burst when Saba Qamar confirmed that this is all about their new venture in which she would be working as a director.
According to the recent news, this matter is being looked into by the CM Punjab, Usman Buzdar. He asked the authorities to further investigate how this act took place without permission. Soon someone on Twitter released the entire permission letter by the authority to the duo.
However, we believe that a mosque or any religious place should never be used for such improper acts, as this is an insult and is equated to violate the sanctity of holy places.
