WhatsApp now enable you to switch to ‘Dark Mode’ on Android and IOS

The most-awaited “Dark Mode” feature has been introduced for both Android and IOS all over the world.

WhatsApp now introduced a new feature the “dark mode”, it will not only decrease the eye stress in dark surroundings, also this feature will not brighten up the entire space when switched on.

Dark mode feature will revolve around with the latest version of WhatsApp, which included unique off-white color and dark grey background, which reduces brightness but make the readability greatly enhanced and feasible. It also reduces the stressed glance on the screen.

WhatsApp said, “When designing dark mode, we spent time researching and experimenting with a focus on two particular areas: Readability and information hierarchy. When choosing colors, we wanted to minimize eye fatigue and use colours that are closers to the system defaults on iPhone and Android, respectively’’.

WhatsApp also added. ‘’We also wanted to help users easily focus their attention on each screen. We did this by using colour and other design elements to make sure the most important information stands out’’.

Here are the instructions that easily make you learn to enable ‘Dark Mode’ On Your Mobile Phone:

To get this feature firstly you need to have the latest version of WhatsApp, whereas if you are having updated phones of Android 10  OS and iOS 13, then they already have dark mode enabled and WhatsApp will directly turn to the dark theme.

~ In case, For Android 9 OS,  below are the instructions that they need to follow to switch to dark :

  • Open WhatsApp
  • Go to WhatsApp Settings
  • Tap on Chats
  • In chats, select display.

Select the Dark Theme from the Display area, and mark it enable from themes options

You may not find a dark mode feature in your mobile right now, as the feature is emerging. For that, you need to see the latest updated version of WhatsApp.
