Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting scheduled in Islamabad, which will cover the important matters including policy change of US for South Asia as Joe Biden takes the presidency.
According to the details, the federal cabinet will discuss the prevailing economic situation, Covid-19 impact, political situation, and the expected US foreign policy change in South Asia, especially towards Afghanistan after the election of Joe Biden as President.
Imran Khan will chair the meeting. The cabinet is expected to approve the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of wheat crop 2020-21.
The ECC has approved MSP of wheat at Rs 1,650/40-kg which is far less than Sindh which approved Rs 2,000/40-kg. At least two farmers who protested in Lahore last week have lost their lives due to the alleged baton charge and use of chemical mixed water by the police.
