New guidelines have been issued for the schedules of wedding events as coronavirus cases surged in Pakistan.
As per the details, The National Command and Operations Center has issued guidelines for wedding ceremonies during the Coronavirus, which will last only 2 hours, while the guidelines will be implemented in certain cities and towns from November 20.
According to the NCOC, guidelines related to wedding halls will be implemented in seven cities in Punjab, two in Sindh, and one each in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
These cities include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Karachi and Hyderabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, and Swat.
According to the guidelines prepared, the event will be held and the venue will be selected in consultation with the local health authority.
Moreover, Indoor wedding ceremonies are banned, only outdoor ones will be allowed.
The use of canopy tents in outdoor wedding ceremonies will also be prohibited.
Furthermore, one thousand guests will be able to attend the outdoor wedding ceremony.
According to the guidelines, there should be a distance of 6 feet between the participants in the wedding ceremony.
The host of the event will be responsible for the implementation of Corona SOPs, the duration of the event will be only 2 hours and the event will have to end by 10 pm.
Above all, the guidelines state that every guest of the ceremony must wear a mask.
