Kazakhstan deputy defence minister acknowledges PAF’s rising indigenous capacity in aviation industry

ISLAMABAD: First Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich called on Chief of Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at his office, during his visit to the Air Headquarters in Islamabad, on Tuesday.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.

Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich commended the professionalism of the PAF and acknowledged its rising indigenous capacity in aviation industry.

The air chief said that Pakistan and Kazakhstan enjoyed longstanding religious, cultural and historical bonds which were manifested through strong ties between both the air forces. The air chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Khussainov Marat Rakhimovich also held a meeting with Naval Chief Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed defence cooperation and matters of mutual interests.

The visiting dignitary commended Pakistan Navy’s role for maritime security and stability in the region.
