Police have arrested a young man who was scaring children and women on New Year’s Eve by wearing a wolf mask.
According to details, Asad was arrested last night in Peshawar on the occasion of New Year’s night for scaring children and women by wearing a mask.
Police say Asad, a young man from Moti Mohalla, was arrested for startling children and women by wearing a mask on New Year’s Eve.
Initial reports stated that the accused has been kept in custody at Shah Qabool police station.
A mask has also been recovered from the possession of a young man. A case has been registered against the accused under section PPC 107 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Police also arrested 126 people from Lahore, Karachi and Faisalabad and remanded them in custody.
According to Lahore CCPO Omar Sheikh, 36 cases were registered for one-wheeling on New Year’s Eve while 36 motorcycles were seized.
32 cases were registered for disturbing the peace by firing in the air, in which 34 accused were arrested and weapons were recovered.
According to CCPO Lahore, 28 pistols, 02 modern guns, 02 rifles, bullets and shells were recovered from the accused. In 20 cases of violation of Fire Act, 30 accused were arrested while 24 cases of alcoholism were registered.
192 litres of liquor and 200 cans were recovered from the accused. According to DIG Operations Lahore, Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, no casualties were reported on the first night of the new year.
Strict action has been taken against lawbreakers in Karachi on the eve of the new year. A case was registered against a citizen after weapons were recovered from him within the limits of North Cantonment Police Station, Lahore.
Two youths were arrested from Soldier Bazaar in Karachi. Youths from PIB Colony and Gulshan-e-Maymar have been arrested.
A youth was also injured in aerial firing in Sea View and Rizvia area. Several people including a girl were injured in different incidents of aerial firing in Karachi.
A case has been registered against one-wheeling in Karachi Police Station Defense and police have remanded 8 youngsters in custody. Several youths have also been arrested in Koh-e-Noor area of Faisalabad for violating orders.
