Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has on Saturday said the PTI government is the representative of a stolen mandate, it’s not the representative of people.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Maulana Fazl said the time has come for “Pakistan’s Trump” to be “removed” from office.
He added, “A historic rally will take place tomorrow in Peshawar,” he vowed, adding that the next rally will be held on November 26 in Larkana which his party, JUI-F, will host.
He further added that the that the Opposition’s campaign against the government has reached its peak and that the organisational structure of the movement is now complete.
Fazlur Rehman said that the Opposition will not allow the government to rest at any juncture in the movement. He said another rally will take place on November 30 in Multan.
“This illegitimate government itself is a big corona,” he said.
“While we talk about COVID-19, we should also shed light upon COVID-18,” Maulana Fazl added more.
Taking a jibe at PM Imran Khan, he said: “One Trump [has left office], we will send the Pakistani Trump packing.”
“We represent every school of thought and every section of the country,” Fazlur Rehman claimed.
Earlier in a day, Prime Minister Imran Khan has criticized PDM for holding jalsas as coronavirus cases surged in Pakistan.
PM Khan retweeted federal Minister Asad Umar’s tweet and criticized that the PDM members are playing reckless politics with people’s safety.
He recalled that the same PDM members had wanted a strict lockdown earlier.
They are even defying court orders & holding a jalsa when cases are rising dramatically, he added.
