Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) will be appointed as per law and it is a constitutional right of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif said this while talking to journalists in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He maintained that the law would take its own course against those who try to take it into their own hands. The National Security Committee has made it clear that there was no conspiracy.
PM Shehbaz said, “Pakistan is at a critical juncture, we have to move forward instead of crying. PML-N does not believe in political revenge but the law will make its own way.”
He condemned the Karachi blast and added that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah will visit Sindh’s provincial capital tomorrow and will assist the PPP government in investigating the Karachi blast.
